CRH US is an exciting company and we are looking for interns to join our creative team of engineers working to develop and update specific systems. The intern hired for this position will be exposed to the cement manufacturing process, and will leave this position with invaluable skills and industry knowledge.
Applicants should be engineering majors, have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and PowerPoint). They should possess strong analytic and statistic skills, and have the ability to work independently
Engineering or Science related field of study
Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, travel requirements):
- Follow and comply with all safety,environmental and plant policies and guidelines.
- Periodic SOS observations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Educational Criteria: High School diploma or equivalent preferred, working on bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science related field of study
Position Dimensions (i.e., communication skills, planning, teamwork, technical knowledge, leadership, initiative):
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer skills with various software, including Microsoft Excel, SAP and email.
- Ability to take action as needed to complete assigned tasks.
- Able to adapt to change
